Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers spend thoughtful time beside the sea, with a distinct subject, a clear point and advice that can be useful without specialist knowledge.
What we welcome
Ideas may explore a particular kind of shoreline walk, a way of looking closely while beachcombing, a seaside picnic choice, a sketching prompt or a small planning question. We are interested in focused explanations, comparisons, background pieces, myth checks and occasion-led guides.
A strong pitch
Tell us the working title, the central idea, why it suits Coastal Leisure Review and what a reader will understand or be able to choose after reading. Keep the subject specific and distinct from existing coverage. Do not pitch claims that depend on unsupported statistics, first-hand testing we cannot verify, or professional advice.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please include a short outline and any relevant sources or image considerations. A pitch is not a commission, and we may ask questions before making an editorial decision.
A good day leaves room to notice
The coast is not a checklist. We look at the small choices that make time beside the sea feel unhurried, curious and suited to the day.
